Wine drinkers in Alberta are excited about the passage of a new corkage law. Corkage is the practice of bringing your own bottle of wine to a restaurant and having them open it for you, and recork it to take home with you afterwards. The practice is commonplace in Quebec and parts of the United States, but relatively unknown in other Canadian provinces.
