Otto Hoxxeim Märzen with a Twist

Special Notes

  • The 0.5 kg corn sugar was added to up the alcohol content. The last Hoxxeim Märzen yeilded only 3.5%, and since this batch was brewed for a party that Melissa and I plan to have soon, we wanted a bit more "umph" to it.

     

Ingredients

  • 1 3kg can Otto Hoxxeim Märzen
  • 0.5 kg corn sugar
  • 3/4 oz Hallertauer (boiling) hops

Method

Add kit, hops, and corn sugar to 1.5 gallons water. Bring to a boil and boil for 30 minutes. Put 2 gallons water into carboy and sparge wort into carboy.
