Papa Bill's Brown Ale97.08.23 This is yet another slight variation of our old faithful recipe. As usual, it produces a fairly light brown ale that wouldn't be identified as a Brown Ale if drunk with eyes shut. In that regard, it's likely what many people would call a North-American Brown Ale. As always, it is extremely popular. Ingredients for 20 litres
Procedure used for this Batch Put 9 qts of 185F water into cooler and allow to come down to strike temp of 169F
