Bohunk Honey-Brown Ale

This is a recipe we came up with at the request of our friend Chris. It's basically

Ingredients for 22 Litres

  • 1.3kg John Bull Light Unhopped Syrup
  • 500g Munton's Light Spraymalt
  • 1 kg Billy Bee honey
  • 250g Crystal Malt
  • 125g Chocolate Malt
  • 1.0 oz Kevin's Nugget

    - steep malts 30 min in 2l, strain into brew pot
    - add 12l, heat up, dissolve malts
    - add hops, boil 60 min
    - cut plastic away from 2 frozen 2 litre pop bottles, carefully add ice to chill
    - fill carboy
    - 14g Cooper's Yeast
