Unfortunately i do not yet have photos up of the new design. I rotated the ring 180 degrees and now a piece of copper comes out of the back of the spigot and across the kettle to the other side to attach to the ring

Alan - how does the weldless fitting do for a seal? I'm worried that mine wil give me some grief... how do you seal it?
