     Kettle 

    The manifold is a simple ring of soft 5/8" copper with slots cut with a dremel

    My initial design used simple friction to hold the drain in place

    But it was too easy to knock loose when stirring the kettle

    Unfortunately i do not yet have photos up of the new design. I rotated the ring 180 degrees and now a piece of copper comes out of the back of the spigot and across the kettle to the other side to attach to the ring

    A simple piece of rolled aluminum held in place with a clothespin acts as a heat shield
